WELCOME TO GOVT SNG COLLEGE, MUNGELI (C.G.) has originated from SNG College which was established in 1974 with an aim to impart education to the socially and economically backward students of Mungeli city as well as nearby villages. The Govt. of Chhattisgarh has appended SNG in its name to honour Shri J.P. Verma, a renowned social worker of the region. Presently it is affiliated to Atal Bihari Vajpayee University, Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh.
